Fabian and Nicole {Chelsea Old Town Hall and Saf Restaurant}

Finally a chance to blog a little more (see their highlights clip here) about Fabian and Nicole’s day which started out with their civil ceremony at the Chelsea Registry Office. I had so much fun photographing these two.. we never stopped laughing!

Here are a few of my favourite images from their day. Feel free to leave a comment if you like them too.

After the ceremony we went for a walk along the river in Battersea Park. It’s the perfect location and quite close to Chelsea Old Town Hall for portraits after a wedding.

We caught a cab to Old Street/Shoreditch where the restauarant is, and found a few more opportunities for portraits along the way.. Now not everyone might be able to pull off these “poses”, but Nicole sure could! I love these as well as the gorgeous natural ones of her and Fabian having a giggle in front of the brighly coloured walls!

At the restaurant, keen discussions followed about the food.. the restauarnt, SAF is known for it’s botanical fine dining.. if you’re veggie/vegan or just love raw food, definitely check them out!

Don’t you love the song? It’s Nicole’s own rendition of Breathe.. one of my all time favourite songs!

John and Angela {Chelsea Old Town Hall}

John and Angela let me into their secret and I had a fun morning photographing their civil wedding at the Chelsea Registry Office. After the ceremony they were having a special lunch with their two co-conspirators and then were going to text friends and family to tell them to check out the newspaper that evening.. a suprise announcement was awaiting them! And in the evening, the “engagement party” everyone had been invited to was actually their wedding celebration! I loved being in on the secret and capturing this special time for them. It was one of the cutest ceremonies ever and the personalised vows they had written for each other very much came from the heart..

Daniel and Catherine {Chelsea Old Town Hall}

Daniel and Catherine had a small wedding one very bright and blue sky wintry day in February at the Chelsea Registry Office. Catherine looked lovely in a vintage wedding dress (her mom’s!). We also managed to get a few lovely portraits of the two of them in the nearby Battersea Park and on Battersea Bridge.

Gary & Linsay {Chelsea Registry Office & Apartment 195, Kings Road}

Wow, what a year 2009 is turning out to be already. I had the most wonderful time photographing Gary and Linsay’s wedding at the Chelsea Registry Office in Kings Road.
This reading had everyone choking up!
Apartment 195 is a secret little gem for small wedding parties as it has so many lovely corners and places for great images.
I’m loving my video light and playing creatively with light..
Wishing you two an awesome and very happy future together.
