I have a new blog! It’s over here – it’s got lovely bigger pictures! See you there soon..
month: September 2009
The very adorable Dave and Victoria got married at the stately Loseley Park in Surrey in April. Their dream team consisted of:
Venue: Losely Park
Dress: Adelaide by Maggie Sottero
Bridesmaids dresses: House of Brides
Flowers: Son Flowers Ltd
Cake: The Wedding Cheese Cake Company
Catering: JMK Caterers
Music/DJ: a live band called Music 251

It was a perfect Sunday afternoon and everyone had a great time enjoying Pimms and lapping up the spring sunshine.

These two are quite camera shy so asked that photography on the day be kept as informal and relaxed as possible which was perfect as I love shooting reportage. For their couple portraits we took a casual stroll around the beautiful gardens of Loseley Park and I left Vicky and Dave to just chat to each other..

.. and of course they practised their first dance!

Cheese cake!

Dave and Vicky, you’re clearly so in love with each other and I hope the love and happiness you felt on your wedding day stays with you for a lifetime.. x
A big thank you to Nicky of Loseley Park for her assistance on the day and especially for letting us get the big group photo before the filming crew for the next day arrived! With such a beautiful setting it’s no wonder Loseley Park has been voted as one of the Best of British Wedding Venues.
Some of you may recognise the next couple from their engagement portrait session we did for them late last year (see here for some of the fun photos from the session in Wimbledon Common). It’s the beautiful Eleanor and Rodney who were married at The Holy Trinity Brompton in Knightsbridge on a stunning blue sky sunny day in April. Their wedding reception followed at Le Gothique in Wandsworth and guests were transported from the ceremony to the reception on a silver London bus. I had so much fun with their crowd, and was in absolute stitches during the speeches! It’s a bit of a long post, but there’s just so many fabulous images to choose from..
Thank you so very much for making it so easy and fun to photograph the two of you with your friends and family. I was welcomed by everyone and really felt at home and I know we’ll still be firm friend for many years to come. Wishing you two the most awesome future together! xx
Rodney and Eleanor’s dream team included:
Wedding Car: A Vintage Occasion
Venue: Le Gothique
DJ and Compere: Jim Stewart

I’ve been published in Melbourne, yeah! The next image made it to Rodney’s parents local newspaper..

I was lucky enough to photograph two weeks in a row at Oaks Farm! This time it was for Tony and Carolyn on Easter Friday. I loved their theme – lots yellow tulips and the bridesmaids wore the most striking blue dresses. Despite it being a little rainy here and there during the day everyone had a great time.
I received this lovely comment from the happy couple shortly after they’d seen their images for the first time: “Thank you so much for the photos, we love them. They really capture the relaxed atmosphere of the day. We didn’t even realise some of the photos were being taken, so thank you for making everything so natural looking.” Part of what I love about being a wedding photographer (apart of course from being at a lovely venue, surrounded by fabulously dressed friends and family and a very happy couple on the most perfect day of their lives!) is hearing afterwards how much they loved the experience and forever having captured split seconds in time for them to remember the love and excitement of the day by.
Thank you so much for letting me be there to capture your wedding day for you Tony and Carolyn. Wishing you much love and happiness in the years to come.. x
Tony and Carolyn’s dream team consisted of:
Hair: Sharon Roberts from Wonder Wedding Hair
Make-up: Tania from TSO Bridal Beauty
Flowers: Giles Lesley Florist
Catering: 10 Flavours
Music/DJ: Raindance

The lovely James & Eryn were married at Oaks Farm (where I’m a recommended photographer) the first weekend in April and I had a wonderful time photographing the two of them.. they’re so much fun and their day was accented by lots of laughs! They had hilarious photos of the two of them pulling funny faces on each of their tables..
A big thank you to Tracy from Oaks Farm and the 10 Flavours team for their assistance on the day.
And thanks so much you two, I had an awesome time with you and your families. Wishing you a wonderful, fun future together x
Dress: Pronovias
Hair & Make-Up: Mel Kinsman
Cake: ChoccyWoccyDooDah
Caterer: Davie Man at 10 flavours
Music: a barn dance!
Venue: Oaks Farm

Chocaholics – look away now!

Daniel and Catherine had a small wedding one very bright and blue sky wintry day in February at the Chelsea Registry Office. Catherine looked lovely in a vintage wedding dress (her mom’s!). We also managed to get a few lovely portraits of the two of them in the nearby Battersea Park and on Battersea Bridge.
Many congratulations to the two of you! I hope you had a wonderful day with your family and friends x
